This isn't "new" news, but something that should be shared with your friends, hopefully helping them understand the costs of inaction. Current estimates for the costs of waiting are $500 BILLION (with a "B") per year, but they appear to be headed upward. Half a TRILLION dollars is pretty steep... get your Senator to explain how they're planning on paying that one off...
