For a very very long time I advised leaders that "the troops gotta bitch", often in response to hearing a complaint, something making the rounds in the rumour mill, weird stuff coming out of the "grapevine", or complaints being made.

I would proceed to explain the reasons behind the need for this psychological pressure relief valve and how it was valuable for maintaining morale, or failing that, at least taking the sharp peaks off emotional explosions within the ranks.


I've recently gained an insight... "everybody's gotta bitch". Because of complications in my life, this is probably the only place I can cut loose and say what's going on in my head. Plus it has the advantage of being out of context, so pretty close to no one will know what I'm really talking about... it's almost art from that viewpoint I suppose.


Feel free to bitch away here if you like. Just try to keep it 1) PG-13 or lower since this blog isn't set up for "mature audiences", 2) try to limit the use of the F-bomb... I know it will happen, but after a certain amount of time it just ends up being boring, 3) this is for bitching, not for plotting or confessing to criminal activity, and 4) no attacking other posters... The 'Net has millions of places where people can get away with that sort of stuff, if that's what you're after, go to one of those places.
